My husband and I had a great meal here last weekend. Everything we ordered was excellent. Going into our night, we had heard mixed reviews about the service, but we were pleasantly surprised with how professional and elegant the wait staff was. I only gave 4 starts and not 5 because the price point is slightly high for what it is. But I guess this is to be expected for a steakhouse in an MGM property. Try them out!
The manager had no excuses, shrug of the shoulders and banalities. This place rates as literally the worst restaurant I have eaten in (or not eaten in as the case was here) - ever. It is a poorly run, below average quality, over priced tourist trap. Do yourself a favor and go to a decent steak house, where the staff are well trained and the chef's know how to cook a steak.
We had a GREAT experience at the Voltaggio Brothers Steak House!! The wait staff was outstanding and our dinner was cooked to perfection. We started out with salads that were delicious, and then we had the 8 oz. Filet Mignon with side orders of Potatoes Au Gratin, Mushrooms, Parker House Rolls and steak house sauce samplers. We topped the meal off with the Chocolate dessert that included, cake, mousse, pudding and ice cream. We will definitely be going back to celebrate special occasions. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Our party of 6 Arrived @ 8:15 Ordered reasonably promptly and then.....we were still waiting for the main course at 10:15 after 2 hours! the place was not even that busy. When the food finally did arrive my choice was a aged rib eye ordered as medium rare, it came burnt black on the outside (don't confuse this with seared, it was charcoal like) and completely raw on the inside, totally inedible.
the steak is off with extremely well cooked and I consider it better than Smith and wollensky's or Delmonico's it had a very good Seer good taste good marbling and it was extremely tender. however that is the strong point of this establishment. if you want to talk about side dishes they are really lacking the wedge salad wasn't the best and the portion was extremely small. they really need to redesign the wedge salad. the number of offerings for the size was also disappointing. the other signs that we try and the mushrooms the pork shoulder and the macaroni and cheese I would only rate two and a half out of 5 stars. as for the atmosphere I would rate the atmosphere 5 out of 5 stars. wine selection was just okay but we tried was good so I would give that four out of five stars. if I were to try this place again I would suspect that my rating would slip on this if they do something to improve the menu.
The atmosphere is great and the drinks are amazing. But the food was horrible. I ordered a steak well done it came out brunt on the outside and red in the middle. For this steak to be 85$ it shouldn't of looked like a brunt chicken tender. The manager did take some money off my check but I should have never been charged for this food. The sides came out cold and horrible. The desert was also nasty. I will never eat here again !
