Great service, mediocre meal.
My wife and I celebrated out sixth wedding anniversary there last night and everything was fantastic! We misjudged how long we would be gambling but they sat us down an hour before our scheduled reservation; our server, Matt, told us he had only been a server for a couple of weeks but he was no nice, engaging, and attentive; and we met a nice couple at the table next to us with whom we ended up chatting with most of the event. Since this was our first visit we decided to do the chef's tasting, which is $75 for 12 courses featuring a variety of items from the menu, and not a single course disappointed us in any way whatsoever. From the barbecued oysters, to the buttery salmon, clams in a broth so good we took what was left in the bowl home, a whole rainbow trout, and so much more, everything was delicious! Being a celebrity chef restaurant inside a casino it is an expensive meal, but well worth the price for a special occasion!
I would have ordered the fish sandwich, but it was made with a combo of pork and fish. Seems a bit odd.
Our server was delightful and helpful with suggestions. Many of the menu items were cooked with pork which limited our choices as none of us indulge in pork. My niece is also vegetarian. There fore we ordered oyster poor boys and crab sandwich. The sandwiches were good, but the chips that were served were a disaster. They appeared to be french fries or fried sticks. They were not freshly made chips and we had several that were actually cold, not room temperature, but cold as if they had been in a cooler. Order another side , if you have the opportunity.
Stopped by without reservations on a Saturday night. The guess staff were very accommodating and found me and the wife seats at the oster bar. An hour and 5 minutes after ordering I received my stake that was definitely not worth the wait (that's what I get for ordering stake at a place called FISH). The wife loved her salmon stake, however.
We were there about 8:30 PM seated outdoors as requested , which provides an excellent view and nice ambiance.
Sexy seafood restaurant with many seafood options. Service was on point and atmosphere was excellent. Shrimp n’ grits were excellent as well as their selection of oysters.
unfortunately Fish didn't work out for us, we ordered a private chef for a party of six. We were made to sit next to a party of 50, who were celebrating a birthday bash. After half hour of yelling loud (which we knew it's going to be that way, gosh it's a birthday) they started singing with a like and loud speaker- yes there was a freaking mouth speaker and microphone party. Next to us. No one from the management dared to question it, they just came to apologize several times, that's it.
Our recommendation will be don't sign up for a fry bar, food was below average and because it's a 6 course meal, you can't even walk out of the restaurant, till they are done with the last course. It's sad that people can spoil other people dinner plans. And greed takes it all. Fish manager said he cannot do anything- then don't book more people and shove them like sardines next to a parade.
My husband and I took my niece out for an evening to experience the Harbor. She was visiting from LA and had been to Vegas numerous times.
Food was below average, waste of time and money. Keep away from this greedy bunch and take your money n business to food court, where I actually found some awesome hamburgers
