Good to bring family or friends from out of town to look. But everything else is very expensive. The Starbucks is overpriced. I am sure the other restaurants are too. The table minimums were pretty high. No free drinks or anything. It was clean and upscale, and had some nice decorations in the circular lobby, but overpriced.
This is a 5 star place with a thief problem In the Fleet club which has a nice atmosphere. But people steel your drinks if you get up to dance we had 3 long islands stolen from us. And the some ladies and I use the term loosely tried to steel my wife's bag from under out noses. The bar gave 2 replacement s but made me pay for number 3. I have been in a lot clubs in and out of the US and not had drinks stolen. People steal bags and coats but drinks never has happens to us even in the shady spots. So if you go in the Fleet club whatch everything even your drinks. Just saying LOL!
Floor games have higher minimums. Drinks are normal bar prices. Very good food quality at food court. Nice date night location.
I'm used to a casino that logically puts poker comps on our casino card so they can be spent off the card like a debit card. After about two weeks at the MGM, I've decided the most annoying, irritating, thing ever is having to wade through a sea of busy people to ask the nice, over-worked, poker room Staff to manually transfer comps for a specific restaurant onto my card every time I want a snack or drink! This does not allow for mind-changing (which will happen often, of course) once we can actually SEE all the food at restaurant choices in front of us and also requires we know the exact after-tax price of items. Realistically, you You'll end up being nickel and dimed but that's nothing compared the annoyance of not being able to simply stop by a spot and get a drink on my card when I happen to be walking around. Was this place really built just last year? *shakes head*
Poker room action is top notch. Games play bigger than other casinos.
I really don't see what all the fuss is about. It's nice but not amazing
