Pretty cool place! Farm right outside of the city with lots of animals, trails, and a tractor ride. And...it's free! Great stop for the kids on a trip to Alexandria.

Overall, my toddler daughter enjoyed herself and that's all that matters.

The Farm is tucked away off of I-395. I took my toddler daughter there on a sunny and hot afternoon and we must of missed all of the activities because there was hardly anything to do besides look at the Farm animals, which included the cows, the chickens, the pigs and the horses, who were all hiding out of the sun. It's a cute little farm to enjoy with the fam, when I imagine, there are activities to do with the animals and children. Maybe next time, we'll go earlier in the morning or check the website for activities first.

Wonderful place to go, especially for younger children. And absolutely free, even parking. Pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, horses, a donkey, and several cows last time I went. The cow let us pet her through the fence and was very sweet.

There is a lot of potential for this spot but every time I visit it seems a little more run down. The rangers seem less enthusiastic than other National Parks I've been too. It either needs more funding or better management.

Sweet little national park. Cows, horses, pigs, chickens, roosters, and perhaps a donkey. Free wagon ride. Fed the chickens for free. Visitor's center was closed when we arrived---they were doing an annual visitor's center cleaning---but it looked informative. Historic home was also closed. I would suggest going on a weekend because more things would be available to do. Ample parking but it's a little walk down a dirt road to get to the park from the parking lot. Not a problem unless you have, say, an elderlu relative who is unsteady on his/her feet. Bring your water with you because you won't want to hike back to the car just for a drink. Jr Ranger program available onsite.
