And get this... the female cashier who was taking cover charges at the door asked me for a tip for taking my cover charge!! LOLOL. I had to laugh. That was pretty unbelievable.
Visited FELT Bar & Lounge on Saturday afternoon in which it is empty. The waitress stopped by to place in our order for drinks. 30 minutes pass by and the waitress never comes back. Most of the waitresses and bartenders are busy chatting and goofing around. I had to walk up to the waitress as she was chatting with her coworkers to request another drink. Another 30 minutes pass, and keep in mind it was not crowded or busy at this time. At this point, me and my guest are ready to leave and the waitress is still chatting away so I go to the bartender to pay my tab. He tries to wave down the attention of the waitress seeming confused and does not allow me to pay my tab until he speaks to her first. They charge me for the drinks I didn't receive, I complain and they quickly make the drinks. To get away from the high level of horrible service. I paid for the drinks in which my guest did not even want at this time. I will not go to this bar again.
The music was pretty good. The DJ was actually one of the main reasons I decided to check the place out.
The reviews are more accurate then I wanted them to be. Such a beautiful place within a gorgeous complex but the staff is very bad. Customer service from the door to the inside made us feel like we were buddies and not a guest. "whats up, do you know what you wanna drink"? was the waitresses first words to us. That is hardly how you approach a new customer even if you think it's ok. Time for an etiquette refresh.
According to one of the male bartenders there, "most of the women who go there regularly are just there looking for guys with lots of money."
I probably won't be back any time soon though.
Combine the high priced drinks with a $10.00 cover charge after 7pm on a Sunday night, and you may come away feeling slightly robbed.
Everytime I go there, it's different. Went one Sunday was told Ladies night. Women get in free. Went on a different Sunday, the following Sunday and was charged. I think because no one was out, bad weather. Tony makes bomb martinis.
Sadly FELT Bar & Lounge was the place we wanted to celebrate getting a jackpot in high limit. Seems as if FELT doesn't even want their customers money. Management, replace FELT with people that actually want to work. You'll lose business and money which I hope is important to you.
The decor is nice, but not nice enough to justify those drink prices.
Beautiful bar inside National Harbor. Sat at the bar and bartender was helpful and service excellent. Very nice selection of signature drinks.
A Heineken is a Heineken. Why would anyone chose to pay $9.00 for one in a bottle? The most over priced drinks I've ever seen. The woman next to me said that she paid $10.00 for a RAIL cocktail in a small glass.
